Ok, here is my accomplishment for today. I finished the sketches for my window cornice. I basically am showing you the points of interest. The painting will measure about 50 inches long by 7" high. I'm very pleased with the way it is coming along so far. 
I cut a piece of canvas 50" long by 14" wide. I'm going to double the canvas and use contact cement to bond the two sides together.
That will give it the needed stiffness. I'm going to post a more in depth analogy of this on my art blog for those of you that are interested. Give me a day or two to get that done.We did manage to find another farmer's market today. We got some great yellow and red peppers, lettuce, broccoli, and cauliflower. That is the really cool thing about being in a warm climate all winter--you have access to fresh produce all winter long!
