Big Thanks to those of you that posted on the window treatments for the fiver. I’m glad you liked them. I do have a bit of an edge when it comes to window treatments. I ran my own window treatment workroom for over 10yrs back in Indiana. I don’t miss the “work” part of that job, but I do miss the “satisfaction” I would get the day the window treatments went up. They make such a huge difference in a room. That is one of the reason I choose to go with a totally beige color scheme in the fiver when we purchased it. It gave me a “blank” palette to work with so I could add virtually any color or design to make it my own. My only problem is time. I should have plenty of it, but somehow it is lacking. Hard to sit at the sewing table when the sun is shining and temps are in the 80’s! I do have a goal. I want to have all of this done before the rv dreams rally in October. Again, more feedback. I would love to put together some type of seminar on “interior design 101 for rv’ers”. I’d like to share what I have done and give others some ideas for their rvs.

Today I did take a break from the sewing table. I went down to the clubhouse to get with the “stitch, bitch, and craft” ladies. I took my dog portrait down---yeah still working on that dang thing! We had a great time, lots of chatting and solving of world problems. One of the ladies provided us with a special treat. Hot from the oven---friendship bread. Don’t ask me for a recipe, but it was delicious!

Back at the fiver, I worked on a blog I’m putting together for my choral club back home. When it is finished, I’ll post the web address and you all can tell me what you think.

Guess that is about it for now........be happy

  1. Hi Debbie,

We won't be at the rally this year, but I think your idea of RV Interior Decorating 101 is great!! That's a seminar I wouldn't miss (well, Marci anyway, tom might skip it - lol!)
